Why Host an Official Event?
When you register your event with us, you aren’t just throwing a party—you’re joining the official canon of the Con. Official events receive:
- The Spotlight: A featured listing on our website’s Daily Highlights and Master Calendar.
- The Megaphone: A dedicated announcement sent to the thousands of members in the Sci-Fi Con In-World Group.
- The Crowd: Increased foot traffic to your booth or stage as fans warp in specifically for your scheduled time slot.
How to Get on the Grid
- Dream Big: Whether you are a Boother looking to host a “Meet the Maker” hour or an Entertainer planning a grand performance, choose a time that works for your crew.
- Submit the Form: Head over to our Event Registration Terminal (available in the Maproom or via the link below). Provide your event title, a catchy description, and your SLURL.
- Coordinate with Volunteers: Our team of Volunteers is standing by to help you cross-reference times and ensure no two wormholes open at the exact same moment.
- Promote Your Vision: Once approved, we’ll handle the heavy lifting of the group announcements, leaving you free to prep your scripts and costumes.
